The Journal of Teacher Education (JTE) published the paper New Standards Require Teaching More Statistics:  Are Preservice Secondary Mathematics Teachers Ready?  in its May/June 2o17 issue.  This paper was co-authored by Jennifer Lovett and Hollylynne Lee.  The paper was published from Jennifer Lovett’s dissertation which was directed by Dr. Lee.  To read the full paper follow this link.

In September of 2017 JTE conducted an author interview of Lovett and Lee.  In the interview the authors expound upon the article and offer insights into the process of the research.  This interview was recently picked up by EdPrepMatters and featured on their website.  You can find the interview here.

The authors hope this interview can help future scholars in pursuing their future research goals in teacher education.
